Jupiter is in an excellent location for viewing the north of Brazil, in the lead almost immediately for a few hours after the sun goes down. This video shows the Great Red Spot in (South Equatorial Belt) SEB, the moon Ganymede in the lower left and its shadow on the surface of the planet at 23:38 GMT, October 1, 2009. Ganymede is the largest of Jupiter's moons. In the video, you'll see a collection of 3 or 4 spots or small reddish-brown oval in the NEB (North Equatorial Belt).
